Revisiting Silk Route and Mongolia: A Historical Perspective

Abstract

The ancient Silk route is an important way to understand the dynamics of trade and ideas which proliferate into a different societies and cultures through multiple levels of exchanges. The constant communication fostered by trade also resulted in evolving of exchange of ideas, belief, culture and knowledge that had immense impact on the history of European civilization. The intellectual and cultural exchange that bloomed through this trade route has benefited different civilization as it fostered new avenues in language religion and culture.
