Abstract

MOOC has been a recent trend in the western countries. This paper explains students’ inclination and outlook about studying MOOCs and highlights the criteria that make MOOCs an Effective learning environment. The study was compiled qualitative methodology which included the use of an online survey. Specifically, probe MOOCs design elements and reasons for influencing the competencies of students to impact their participation in MOOCs. Effectiveness of MOOC is influences by factors such as Openness, Multimedia, Design and Communication. The outcomes of this research may boost up students' continuity and may help educators develop constructivist MOOCs.
