Abstract

The project aims to explore the unifying elements of storytelling in The Forty Rules of Love and Three Daughters of Eve by the author, Elif Shafak in the light of Postmodernism. The two novels depict the elements of mini-narratives, pluralism, multiplicity and polyphony. The Forty Rules of Love juxtaposes two centuries and blends them, whereas, Three Daughters of Eve juxtaposes two continents.
